Up to date, 71 Electric holds 127 patents including 24 invention patents, 94 utility model patents, and 9 industrial design patents, notably including a 40.5kV Double Shielded Contact Box solving the non-uniform electric field distribution inside of the epoxy insulator.

Besides, 71 Electric won "third prize of Zhejiang Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award" in 2009.
